Walmart Brighter Futures Project 2.0
Sinclair Community College has further enhanced its award-winning Academic Coaching and Career Pathway model with the assistance of the Walmart Brighter Futures 2.0 Project.
Leveraging internal resources and its extensive network of businesses, business associations, and public economic and workforce development agencies, Sinclair has endeavored to provide low skilled, low wage individuals fast-track non-credit and credit-bearing credentials leading to middle skill careers.
Sinclair has applied the Walmart Brighter Futures 2.0 Project to open up opportunities that offer students necessary training to rapidly develop the skills and credentials that enable them to enter the workforce sooner than an Associate’s degree could offer. Students gain employable skills within a shorter time frame and either go directly into a new career or hold gainful employment while still pursuing their degree.
