This series will focus on building customer service, communication, and conflict management skills for those in this very important role. The series will meet for the four below sessions. (Dinner is not included)
Session 1: Communication that Connects
Clear communication skills can better equip you to share important information, convey ideas, and motivate others to work together to achieve organizational results. Discover what may be preventing you from really "hearing" others, learn your own communication style tendencies and apply techniques to effectively communicate with others.
Session 2: Managing Conflict with Confidence
Conflict management is a process that allows people to explore and understand our differences and use them to interact in a more positive, productive way. Learn your primary approach to handling conflict and when and why you should use different conflict resolution strategies to improve the chances of achieving a positive outcome.
Session 3: Building a Culture of Accountability
This session provides a judgment-free learning environment for strengthening personal accountability in ourselves and others. Without clear directions and expectations, it is difficult for both leaders and employees to manage accountability effectively. Learn strategies to build an environment where personal accountability is not only expected, but valued.
Session 4: Leading with Emotional Intelligence
Developing a clear understanding of our beliefs, values, and motives are important first steps towards strengthening our emotional intelligence. This learning session is designed to give you practical insight into the competencies of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. Discover how to identify your strengths and weaknesses and learn how to master the skills needed to succeed in both work and life.
