By 2028, over 20,000 industrial maintenance jobs will need to be filled in the Greater Cincinnati area. As a result, employers are eager for a training that effectively upgrades the skills of incumbent workers and prepares a future workforce for in-demand industrial maintenance jobs.
During October, Sinclair Workforce Development is calling attention to resources for manufacturers and individuals. The manufacturing industry in the Greater Dayton region has been a key part of the economy for decades and generates billions of dollars in annual sales and payroll.
Sinclair College has received $4.1 million from global aerospace and defense contractor ARCTOS Technology Solutions to develop smart manufacturing technologies and training programs for students and employers.
